Construction of the Civic Center steel structure continues.
1) Structural steel building erection
2) Steel decking installation
3) Prepare for slab of metal deck pour
4) Initial layout for wall framing and rough-in on 1st floor

The alley will remain closed for the foreseeable future until bollards are installed around the new electrical transformers.

Lydig Construction will be working on the following:

3) Initial layout and wall framing on 1st floor
4 ) Initial layout and rough-in on 1st floor for mechanical and electrical systems

3) Initial layout and wall framing on first floor
4) Initial layout and rough-in on first floor for mechanical system

September 22 - 26, 2014

Crews install the main staircase.
Lydig Construction will be working on the following:

1) Final decking and stair installation
2) Prepare for mechanical slab on metal deck pour
3) Wall framing on first floor
4) Rough-in on first floor for mechanical and electrical systems

The alley will remain closed for the foreseeable future until bollards are installed around the new electrical informers.

September 29 - October 3, 2014
city council tours site
Members of the Sequim City Council tour the construction site of the new Civic Center.
Lydig Construction will be working on the following:

1) Prepare and pour mechanical slab on metal deck
2) Wall framing on first floor
3) Rough-in on first floor for mechanical and electrical systems
4) Initial layout and installation of metal roofing
