Functions
The City Clerk's Department provides a variety of services that support the City Council, City Departments, and City residents. The City Clerk's Department also serves as the only Sequim-area Passport Acceptance Agent. The Clerk's Office collects required information and then sends that information to the passport processing offices in Seattle. 

The City Clerk is responsible for management of the City's official records, public disclosure, City Council support, legal noticing, electronic records access, donations, the Volunteer Program, the City Arts Advisory Commission and its activities/events such as Music in the Park, and other special projects.
