Sequim Service Fest
Sequim Service Fest 2018 will serve the entire City of Sequim with Neighborhood Revitalization projects covering over six square miles, seven-diverse neighborhoods from June 4 - 15, 2018. The City is partnering with Habitat for Humanity, First Federal Bank and many other volunteer groups.
The kickoff event is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on June 4, 2018, and will feature an internationally acclaimed key-note speaker, Peter Kageyama (who wrote the books For the Love of Cities: The Love Affair Between People and Their Places; and Love Where You Live: Creating Emotionally Engaging Places.
If you would like to sign up in advance to volunteer, please visit the Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Hub. You can sign up for one day or multiple days. There will also be an opportunity to sign up during Service Fest.
A group of volunteer RV “Care-A-Vanners” and other volunteers will work on neighborhood improvement projects during Service Fest. These projects may include exterior paint, window/door repair, minor siding/trim repair, stair or ramp repair, and/or landscaping and yard clean-up. If you are a Sequim resident and a homeowner with these needs, or you see a neighbor that may need assistance, please contact Habitat for Humanity at or call 360-775-3742 to be included on the project on the list. Wednesday, June 6 - Rally in the Alley
The City of Sequim is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County and Olympic Disposal for the next RITA neighborhood clean-up program on Wednesday, June 6 as part of the Sequim Service Fest. RITA will begin at 9am and will end when dumpsters are full.
Two dumpsters each will be located in three locations:
- City Shop, 169 W. Hemlock St.
- Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave. (dumpsters located near soccer fields)
- Blue Sky Real Estate, 190 N. Priest Road

No tires, appliances, liquid paint, gas, fuel or oil will be accepted. For more information about the disposal of household hazardous waste, please visit Environmental Health.
Volunteers are welcome. Volunteers should meet at the Carrie Blake Park Guy Cole Center at 8:00 a.m. for assignments.
