[ARCHIVED] Requests for Personal Protective Equipment

medical gloves

Essential businesses and service providers who have a need for personal protective equipment (PPE) such as the homemade masks or gloves in Clallam County should use the number (360) 417-2430 to make their requests. The Clallam County Emergency Operations Center is working with Dr. Unthank, Clallam County Health Officer, to distribute the critical supplies according to a deliberate prioritization.

We want to encourage the groups which have organized to make the cloth masks and gowns to continue to produce them. There is still a need, and we anticipate that the demand will increase. These efforts reflect the generosity and community spirit, which we have here in Sequim. We extend our gratitude to the individuals and businesses which have supported this effort.

The Emergency Coordination Center (ECC), which is a combined effort of the City of Sequim, the Sequim School District, and Clallam County Fire District 3, is continuing to operate a donation center. Community members can drop off donations at Greywolf Elementary School, 171 Carlsborg Road, Sequim, WA, from 9 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday. The ECC is working in support of the Clallam County Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
