[ARCHIVED] Sequim VFW Burglarized, Suspect Arrested

Sequim Police Department Patch

On March 12th the Sequim VFW reported a burglary to their building at 169 E. Washington St.  Over $5,000.00 worth of alcohol, electronics, and musical equipment was stolen from the bar area of the VFW.  The manager of the VFW believed that Jordan Salo was responsible for the burglary.  Salo lives in an upstairs apartment.  Management checked the apartment, located the stolen property inside, and reported the incident to police.  Police responded shortly after and arrested Jordan Salo (age 29) for Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft 1st Degree.  Salo was later booked into the Clallam County Correctional Facility.   In a subsequent interview, Salo has denied committing the crimes.  The investigation is ongoing to determine if any accomplices were involved.  All of the stolen items were recovered and released to the owners.
