Three local organizations have agreed to be title sponsors for Sequim Sunshine Festival events and are contributing $5000 each to support the event. The festival will take place on Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 with a series of family-friendly activities designed to celebrate the near end of winter and the coming of the spring and summer seasons.
Sound Community Bank returns as the title sponsor for the Illuminated Drone Show by Firefly Drone Shows. This is the third year that Sound Community Bank has been a title sponsor for a Sequim Sunshine Festival event. The drone show will take place on Saturday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. and will launch south of Carrie Blake Park. The show will feature 200 drones flying in choreographed formation, is best viewed from a distance, and will be visible from multiple locations inside the park.

Peninsula Behavioral Health is the title sponsor for the Sun Fun Color Run. The run takes place at the Albert Haller Playfields at Carrie Blake Park on Saturday, March 4 at 11:00 a.m. This family-friendly event offers a 1K and 5K option. Clallam County PUD is the title sponsor for the Interactive Light Experience. A custom-built interactive environment, designed and built by artist Ross Brown, that blends art and science encouraging visitors to look at light as an artistic design element and the physical properties of light. The exhibit will be in the Clubhouse at Pioneer Memorial Park on Friday, March 3 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 4, from 12:00 noon to 6:30 p.m.
