[ARCHIVED] Nicholas Dostie Appointed Sequim City Engineer and Deputy Public Works Director

The City of Sequim has appointed Nicholas Dostie to serve as the City Engineer and Deputy Public Works Director effective January 3, 2023.

Dostie graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  He is a Washington State certified bridge program manager, leader, and inspector.  Dostie has five years of experience working for a local private engineering firm and five years of experience working in public design and project management for Clallam County.

“I am extremely pleased to welcome Nick Dostie to the City of Sequim as Deputy Public Works Director and City Engineer,” said Public Works Director Sarah VanAusdle.

“Nick is known for his great work ethic, can-do approach, and always positive attitude.  Nick has worked on design, construction, and inspection for almost every aspect of Clallam County Public Works from trails, water, sewer, bridges, budget, capital facilities planning, and roads, including the new roundabout on Sequim-Dungeness Way.  The City is very fortunate to have Nick on our team.”
