Beginning Monday, October 1, 2012, The City of Sequim will be repairing selected areas of pavement on Rhodefer Road, Oakwood Drive, and on West Sequim Bay Road between Rhodefer Road and Washington Harbor Road. The work will involve digging out portions of the asphalt and patching it with new asphalt.
The City will also be repairing North 7th Avenue by overlaying asphalt and doing minor asphalt patching.
The work will be performed by Lakeside Industries and will take place Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The work should be completed no later than November 2, 2012. Drivers should anticipate some traffic control in these areas, although delays are not anticipated.
The project will also include placing a chip seal surface on West Sequim Bay Road and Rhodefer Road. Because of the lateness of the season and cooler autumn temperatures, this work will be postponed until the spring of next year.
The work on Rhodefer Road and North 7th Avenue are Transportation Benefit District projects.
