[ARCHIVED] Nelson Boyd First Presenting Sponsor of Music and Movies in the Park

Attorneys Deborah Nelson and Jeff Boyd of Nelson Boyd have agreed to become the first Presenting Sponsor of Sequim’s “Music and Movies in the Park” series by donating $1000 to the program.

“We’re both big movie fans and we love Sequim, so it seemed to be a perfect partnership,” Deborah Nelson said.

Deborah Nelson has been practicing law on the North Olympic Peninsula since 1994 and was the first attorney on the North Olympic Peninsula to be named a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law & Politics, an honor she has won each year since 2003. She is a past president of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (now known as the Washington State Association for Justice). Nelson and Boyd can be reached at (360) 417-9081 or www.nelsonboydlaw.com.

Sequim’s “Music and Movies in the Park” is a summer concert series held at the James Center for the Performing Arts located at the Sequim Water Reuse Demonstrate Site. The series begins on June 25 and runs each Tuesday through August. Performances begin at 6:00 p.m. An outdoor movie will be shown at dusk on the last Tuesday of each month following the musical performance, if funding allows.

This is a great community event. Bring the kids, dogs and a picnic and enjoy free, family friendly entertainment. For information on how you can sponsor the program, contact City Clerk Karen Kuznek-Reese, 681-3428.
