[ARCHIVED] The City of Sequim Begins Pavement Preservation Projects

Pavement overlay is scheduled to take place on West Maple Street (between South 3rd Avenue and South 4th Avenue), West Prairie Street (between South 5th Avenue and South 7th Avenue), South 3rd Avenue (between West Hemlock Street and West Prairie Street), and West McCurdy Street (between Maizie Court and North 5th Place) on the week of September 16, 2013. These projects are part of the City’s pavement preservation plan.

The paving is expected to be complete in fifty working days. The road will be reduced to one lane vehicle traffic with flaggers. Drivers should expect some delays. The work will be performed by Lakeside Industries and is dependent on the weather. There will be no parking on these streets during construction.
