[ARCHIVED] Sponsors Are Still Needed for Sequim’s Music and Movies in the Park

The City of Sequim is looking for sponsors to support the 2014 Music and Movies in the Park summer concert series. The program is held at the James Center for the Performing Arts, located at the Water Reuse Demonstration Site on Blake Avenue, and is scheduled to run on Tuesday evenings from June 24, 2014 through August 26, 2014. All performances begin at 6:00 p.m. An outdoor movie will be shown at dusk on the last Tuesday of each month following the musical performance. All programming is dependent on available funding.

Each musical performer receives $400 for their performance, and each movie costs approximately $2500 for the screen and movie license. Music and Movies in the Park is a popular community event series that relies on the generosity of community sponsorships and presents an opportunity for sponsors to promote themselves to the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Community. Donations may be tax deductible (IRS Code, 26 U.S.C. 170 (c) 1).

Sponsorship opportunities come in many levels. Visit the City of Sequim website www.sequimwa.gov for complete sponsorship information.

Please contact City Clerk Karen-Kuznek Reese at 681-3428 or kkuznek@sequimwa.gov with questions or to learn more about becoming a sponsor for Music and Movies in the Park.
