[ARCHIVED] Opening of Art Exhibit at Civic Center Postponed

The City Arts Advisory Commission has announced that the opening of the art exhibit “What Sequim Means to Me” has been postponed until after the new Civic Center, located at 152 W. Cedar Street, is officially open. The art show opening will be announced once a date is confirmed.

The art exhibit was originally scheduled to be on display at the Civic Center Open House which will take place on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Finish work is still being completed on the facility and the exhibit space is not prepared for the display.

City Council Members and City staff will be available to answer questions and direct visitors through the new facility during the Open House. Parking for the event is available on Cedar Street, accessed from 2nd Avenue, and at the Public Parking lot on Sequim Avenue and Cedar Street. Visitors should enter through the main entrance on the southeast corner of the building.
