Our name says it all – Sequim, bounty or place of abundance. Rich, fertile farmlands, generous waters, and an entrepreneurial spirit all will contribute to making Sequim the next culinary destination.
Find out how you can be a part of the growing culinary tourism movement by joining the City of Sequim and the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce and at an informational meeting Monday, January 30, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Sequim Transit Center located at 190 W. Cedar St., Sequim. Discover how you can get involved in the new effort to establish Sequim as a culinary destination.
In 2010, the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted the first Incredible Edible Festival. While the festival was a success, in 2011 the Chamber put the event on hold to rethink the event and redesign the effort to better benefit the local culinary industry and to position Sequim as a leader in the culinary travel business. This meeting is the kick-off to get food and beverage professionals, restaurant owners, food purveyors and anyone interested in food and beverage involved.
