[ARCHIVED] Two “Keying Around” Pianos Sold through Silent Auction

SEQUIM— Two of the three “Keying Around” pianos were sold through a silent auction process that concluded during the First Friday Art Walk on Friday, August 5, 2016.

The art deco style piano, painted by Natalie Andrzejeski, sold for $500 and the night scene piano, painted by Todd Fischer and Larry White, sold for $600. The third piano, painted by the artists of ART JAM 2016 and nicknamed “Patsy,” is scheduled for some refurbishing work and will be utilized throughout the coming year at various locations in a “Where’s Patsy” event.

The money raised will be used to fund future programs sponsored by the City Arts Advisory Commission.
