[ARCHIVED] The City of Sequim to Begin Crack Seal Projects

The City of Sequim Public Works Department will begin sealing cracks on streets throughout the city beginning Wednesday, September 20. The streets include Washington Street, Hendrickson Street, West Sequim Bay Road, North 5th Avenue, 3rd Avenue, and Sequim Avenue. The work is expected to be complete by September 30.

Crack sealing is a critical element of pavement maintenance and is essential to maximizing the pavement’s service life. Drivers may experience delays lasting less than five minutes while the work is being performed.

The work will be performed by CR Contracting and is being funded with Transportation Benefit District (TBD) funds.
