[ARCHIVED] The City of Sequim Permanent Art Exhibit Opening Postponed to March 2, 2018

The City of Sequim plans to hold an Official Opening commemorating the permanent Art Installation and conduct an Artists’ Reception in conjunction with the March 2, First Friday Art Walk. This event was originally scheduled for February 2 but has been delayed. The Artists’ Reception will be held March 2 from 4 to 5 PM in the Civic Center Chambers. The Civic Center will open to the public from 5 to 7 PM for viewing of the permanent art exhibit.

The exhibit highlights original pieces from Pacific Northwest artists. The art pieces tie into the history of Sequim and themes that were incorporated into the Civic Center plaza design including: friendly community, bountiful prairie, innovative strong people, magnificent mountains, natural beauty, quiet waters and sunshine.
