[ARCHIVED] Sequim City Manager Awarded Scholarship to Attend Harvard Senior Executive Program

The International City/County Management Association (ICMA) has announced that Sequim City Manager Charlie Bush is the recipient of a full tuition scholarship to attend the Harvard Senior Executive program in July.

The three-week program is designed to challenge conventional thinking, thought processes, and the values that drive leadership decisions.

Qualifications for the scholarship include: at least three years of membership in ICMA; senior executive experience by serving as a city, county, or town manager or assistant; commitment to the local government profession; and demonstrated exemplary leadership and service to local government.

Bush is one of two 2018 recipients of the $16,000 tuition scholarship awarded by ICMA. He will cover his own travel expenses to attend the program.
