Please join the City of Sequim and the Sequim Picklers as we cut the ribbon on the eight new tournament quality Pickle Ball courts at Carrie Blake Community Park, 202 N. Blake Avenue, on Wednesday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m.
“This is a great example of members of the community working together with local government and community partners to accomplish a goal that has widespread and long-term benefits for the region,” commented Assistant City Manager and parks representative Joe Irvin.
The Pickle Ball courts were built with money raised by the Sequim Picklers, the City of Sequim Parks and Lodging Tax funds, Clallam County Lodging Tax fund, the Haller Foundation, the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund, and First Federal. Pro bono architectural services were donated by Christiane Johnson.
