The City of Sequim will celebrate Arbor Day on Friday, November 16 at 12:00 noon at Carrie Blake Park east of the Shiso City Friendship Garden, 202 North Blake Avenue. Join the Mayor and City Staff as they plant a Spartan Apple tree as a tribute to former Public Works Operations Manager, the late Mike Brandt.
The celebration recognizes Sequim’s designation as a “Tree City USA,” by the Arbor Day Foundation, and is held in the fall for the best planting conditions.
