The City of Sequim will rehabilitate selected sections of City streets beginning October 14, 2019. The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., is expected to take five to six weeks to complete, and is weather dependent.
Work will be performed at the following locations:
• Oak Tree Subdivision, located southeast of the intersection of North Brown Road and East Hendrickson Road.
• Olympic Crest Subdivision located southwest of the intersection of Washington Harbor Road and West Sequim Bay Road
Residents can expect delays, localized closures, and detours during work hours. Resident access will be provided however residents are encouraged to heed flaggers, cones, and construction signage, and to be cognizant of large construction equipment and trucks and their backup alarms.
Pavement rehabilitation includes removal of existing pavement above failed utility trenches, excavation of inadequate subgrade materials, subgrade repair, and installation of new pavement. The projects are being funded with utility funds. The work will be performed by Nordland Construction NW, Inc.
