When am I required to both rent a facility AND obtain a Special Event Permit?

A special event is a temporary use that affects the ordinary and normal use of public property or facilities, or that affects traffic flow, right-of-way, parking, public safety, or operations/services of the City or other public agencies. Per Sequim Municipal Code certain events will require a special event permit. See the "Is a Special Event Permit Required?" checklist.
