I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I have been married for 49 years and have 4 adult children. During the time my children were in high school, our family hosted 8 foreign exchange students.
Education: A.A. LVN Nursing 1972, A.A. R.N. 1980
Employment: I was a nurse for 43 years and retired in 2014. I was on the City Council in Marietta, Ohio from 2014 to 2019 where I was chairwoman of the Streets Committee and a member of Police/Fire and Water/Sewer Committees. I was council liaison to Main Street, Traffic, Stormwater, Brick Street and Alternative Transportation Commissions.
Volunteer Work/Military Service: I taught for the Red Cross, kept score for my children's sports, volunteered for my church, was a member of the PTO and was a disaster shelter volunteer.
Hobbies/Interests: Reading (especially about home design), watching mystery shows, and traveling the world (I have been to National Parks in all 50 states!).
What I love about Sequim is the people, the festivals, the mountains and the beaches. I hope to restore some balance to our City Council. I am looking forward to taking care of the city businesses with ordinances and resolutions that follow our State law.
