June Robinson Memorial Park

Features
- Gardening plots
Located at the southwest corner of East Spruce and North Sunnyside. This park was renamed for June Robinson during the last quarter of 2009. June was our original member of the Citizens Parks Advisory Board, and our local historian, and stayed on the board until her passing in mid 2009.
This is a quarter-acre park with an area dedicated to organic gardening, (a pea patch). It has 24 different plots for gardening, including 12 raised bed garden boxes (about 30 inches off the ground) for gardeners with disabilities, and 12 on-the-ground garden plots. The rental fee for these plots is $45 per year. This fee includes water usage and gardening tools on site. The city provides a variety of organic seeds as well. For more information visit Catalog - Sequim, WA (rec1.com).
This park has the first porous asphalt parking lot and LED-style street lamp owned and controlled by the City of Sequim, in the city limits.
