Upcoming Exhibitions in the Karen Kuznek-Reese Gallery at Civic Center

Music; the Art of Arranging Sound

The City of Sequim Arts Commission is seeking submissions of artwork that explores Music as creative expression.  Artworks can be literal representations of musical instruments, depictions of musicians performing for an audience or your interpretation of how a particular song makes you feel. Music can be transformative; it's power can be energizing or relaxing, it can take you back in time to revisit past memories or can inspire positive vibes and motivation for the future. Any and all interpretations of the theme are welcomed.

Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, June 14th at 4pm. All entries will be juried by Sequim's City Arts Advisory Commission by Monday, June 19th, 2023. Artists will be notified of their status by Wednesday, June 21st. Artwork delivery will be scheduled for June 28th & 30th and you will be contacted to schedule delivery of your work to Sequim’s Civic Center. The Artist Reception and Exhibition Opening will take place during the June First Friday Art Walk, on July 7th, from 5-7pm.
