Sequim Parks & Open Space Master Plan

How can sequim's parks and open spaces meet your family's recreation needs?

We want to hear from you!

The city has started to update its Parks and Open Space Master Plan, which was previously adopted in 2015. The new citywide Master Plan will establish a road map for providing high quality, community-driven parks, trails, natural areas and recreation offerings across Sequim.

Citizen input is crucial to make sure recreational goals and priorities are consistent with community needs and interests. There will be several, COVID-sensitive opportunities for the community to participate, including an online survey, online open house and virtual stakeholder discussions. This process gives us an excellent opportunity to identify ways in which to best serve the recreational needs of the community over the coming 6 to 10 years.

The review and adoption of the updated, draft Parks and Open Space Master Plan is anticipated for the end of 2021.
